Stoney Point is three mile from the town of Ellsworth, which offers Wal-Mart, Home Depot, grocery stores, restaurants, L.L.Bean, etc. Almost as close is the postcard-perfect village of Blue Hill—a popular vacation and retirement destination – boasting a yacht club, cultural events, fine dining, and upscale shops, alongside grocery and health food stores. Blue Hill and Ellsworth have hospitals, and the city of Bangor (26 miles away) offers the Eastern Maine Medical Center.
