Is Thames Valley University A Bad Uni?
It does take some time for such a relatively young institution to find suitable staff. Even at an established university quality is substandard when new departments are set up. Thames Valley is a university who’s reputation will improve over time and as far as I can tell it has no serious problems now. Unlike schools, universities offer you the opportunity to do great things with your time, irrespective of the quality of the staff. If you have the right character you will succeed. My advice would be that if you liked the campus then you would do well to take the place.
