Is the admissions process different for Kentucky residents and nonresidents?

A. No. The Admissions Committee is very interested in including candidates who are not residents of Kentucky in UK Law’s student body and their applications are reviewed in full as described above. There is no state or university-mandated limitation on the number of nonresidents who can enroll at UK Law. The only difference between residents and non-residents in the admissions process is that a candidate whose credentials are considered borderline for UK Law has a better chance of gaining admission if a resident than a nonresident.
