Is the advertising industry complicit in current financial crisis?
The response by Patricia Roberts is a useful counterpoint to some of the others on this thread, highlighting the role of personal responsibility. Of course personal responsibility assumes a healthy self-concept, full faculties, etc. It is this quasi-predatory element of using known tactics to employ human frailties in pursuit of a ‘win’ that I find distasteful.
