This is very characteristic of the Legend’s transmission. There are ways to remedy this problem, however. The quickest solution is to take the car to a shop that has a transmission flush machine. The machine will circulate fresh transmission fluid throughout the transmission, and eliminate any old fluid that may remain in the transmission. Another way to do this would to change your transmission fluid three times over a short period of time. This once again ensures that any old fluid is taken out of the system. IMPORTANT: USE ONLY GENUINE HONDA ATF!!!
