Is the boat hull truly ready to paint after Eco Strip has finished stripping the paint?

0

Yes. Eco Strip leaves the hull surface perfectly prepped with the equivalent of approximately an 80 grit sanding, removes the paint up to the waterline, and leaves your running gear looking like new. After stripping is complete, Eco Strip cleans up all the debris, and disposes it into the boat yard’s dumpster. Next we wash down the boat to remove any residue. Before the bottom paint is applied we do recommend the painter wipes down the hull with the proper solvent. Q: Can Eco Strip remove barrier coat? A: The answer is yes, but we do not always recommend removing the barrier coat. The barrier coat is an extremely hard paint, and if applied properly the first time does not need to be removed. In most cases we remove the antifouling paint down to the barrier coat, and remove any loose barrier coat. The existing barrier coat will be left with the perfect profile to reapply new barrier coat or antifouling paint. Q: Why is the process used by Eco Strip considered “environmental friendly”? A
