Is the born worker by gary soto told in third person omniscient?
I’ve never read The Born Worker, but third person omniscient is when it’s told from a narrator’s point of view (they did this, she did that, he did this, etc.) but the narrator knows how everyone’s feeling. Example: (normal third person): Gary went to the store and bought some milk. The clerk looked at him in a funny way. Gary wondered what was bothering her. (third person omniscient): Gary went to the store. The clerk thought he looked half-starved and considered giving him the milk for free, but when she saw his expensive shoes she thought better of it. Gary went home, fed the cat, and watched his favorite TV show, American Idol. hope that helps.
