Is the Congressional record proof enough that the democrat party created the KKK?
Your logic is flawed for one. The platforms of the parties have practically switched. Yes, the original Democratic Party (which does not exist anymore) was a white supremicist party, but so was the Republican Party at the time – both parties were composed of virtually the same amount of KKK members during the time of slavery. No, the Democratic Party did not create the KKK, the KKK existed long before the modern democratic party was formed. And if you look at it by a legal standpoint, slavery ended about 150 years ago (1863-5) and the US law states that a legal action or declaration cannot take place if the witnesses to the original event are dead or a considerable amount of time has passed since the event. Also, our laws state that any legal action or declaration must prove the event beyond a reasonable doubt which the congressional record fails to do.
