Is the Continental Kennel Club legit?
Yes, CKC is legit. They get some flack from other registeries for recognizing more dog breeds than they do. But, in reality CKC has greatly cut down on K9 youthinizations by reconizing more breeds. Their customer service is great and their registration services are much more affordable than others. They also offer all sorts of training events that are more suitable to each individual breed. For example take Siberian Huskies or Seppelas. Instead of having a show where they are judged by how ‘pretty’ they look, CKC hosts events that judge them by how fast they can run and pull.
