Is the current “deficit” a reflection of the presidency or the recent majority democrat house and senate?
The Democrats can’t get anything passed in Congress because they have a slim majority and can’t get passed Bush’s veto pen. The majority of the defecit is a result of the Iraq war that was backed by the President and the majority Republican congress. I would say Bush is more to blame for the current defecit than any other person or entity.
