No, Hollywood Park is not in the flight path. However, a portion of the property is within what’s called the “noise zone” of LAX. To mitigate against airport-related noise, Hollywood Park Tomorrow plans to construct homes with accepted soundproofing measures, including double-paned windows, sound-rated doors and attic insulation. Furthermore, each home will be tested to ensure that the indoor noise level does not exceed the accepted standard of 45 decibels (dBA).
