Is the “Dynamic VPN” setup related to “DynDNS” setup for WAN port connection?

When using dynamic VPN it does not relate to DDNS, because you don’t need to care about who the remote VPN client is. In the other word, it doesn’t check the remote gateway IP or Domain Name but check the Pre-shared key, IKE and IPsec proposals only.
