Is the email about GENERAL EISENHOWER WARNED US about the holocust true?
The part about Eisenhower is true. The part about the British is gross exaggeration at best; I found no news accounts current or archived concerning such a proposal, but I have no doubt that the request has been made. On the other hand, the school systems in the UK (like those in the US) receive a continual stream of lunatic fringe demands for the inclusion of some dogma or the eradication of something that the one(s) making the request find anathematic, seldom with enough reason to accord them a moment’s debate. As for the admonition concerning historical memory, consider the fact that highly vocal sources on the Net have been claiming, for some time now, that the September 11 attacks were not what they seemed, and (in certain cases) that the WTC collapse was proof of a vast conspiracy which culminated in the explosive demolition of the two structures. There is no way to prevent some people from believing a lie; all one can do is follow Eisenhower’s advice and be ready to refute it…
