Is the Iraq war the biggest strategic blunder in American History?

Let me put it this way so that every one understands, it was the war of Iraq or the war of Iran, the war of Iran would be the beginning of WW3.

The biggest strategic bluder was probably Custers blunder at Little Big Horn. He and every individual under his command paid the price for that one.

No We have to see how it compares to history once it becomes history. I think there is way too much passion on all sides to make a good rational review of what is going on Iraq. Maybe our war of poverty can be a bigger strategic blunder because we have spent more money than we have in Iraq. It has lasted longer than what is going on in Iraq. The point I am making is that we have to be stand back and look it not in the heat of the battle. I know it is so popular now to call Bush the worst president we ever have but I think you doing major injustice to any real study of history. So if you want a honest answer you are going to have to wait.
