Is the local transmission/distribution network adequate?

0

Yes. National Grid will be providing a new connection to accommodate the new plant. This will be built next to the plant so no pylons will be required. The capacity in the network itself is sufficient and no reinforcement work will be required. There is currently upgrade work planned by National Grid in the region in response to the rising local demand.
