Is the medical device industry investing enough in human factors and industrial design?
Wilcox: In-house human factors people are still very rare in medical companies. There is something funny about that. It just does not seem quite right. Alden: I think we have a long way to go. Even though there are a number of large companies in the medical device industry, there are not a lot of in-house design groups.
