The Duel II is the seventeenth season of the MTV television series, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and the sequel to The Duel. It takes place in Queenstown, New Zealand,[2][3] with former cast members from MTV’s The Real World and Road Rules competing along with several cast members from the Fresh Meat challenge. The cast departed for Auckland, New Zealand on October 27, 2008[4] and filming ran through early December.
