Is the Newton County real estate market the slowest in metro Atlanta?

We had an agent decline to list our home for sale stating that Newton County was the slowest market in the metro area. We’re just looking for other opinions on this from agents who are familiar with the area. The area we live in has new subdivisions and businesses going up everywhere, so we find his claim hard to believe.
