A PG Diploma in Business Administration in distance mode is approved as equal to regular study of some of the reputed Universities/Institutes in India. (Not from all) These programs of Sikkim Manipal University, Directorate of Distance Education are recognized by UGC, Ministry of HRD, and approved by Distance Education Council (DEC). Information Technology : MCA, MSc CS, MSc IT, PGDCA, BCA, BSc IT, DIT Management : MBA, BBA, BBARO, PGDBA Others : Telecom Technology, Hospitality & Tourism, Journalism, Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, Commerce, Allied Health, Fashion Design. There are few other Universities/Institutes also whose Distance Mode education is approved and recognized.
