Is the Philippine Civil Service Exam difficult?
Well John, I know exactly how you feel. In my case, i’m opposite in terms of your forte with math and logic as my own specialty(My Tagalog vocab is weak compared to my English). The very best advice i can give you is to keep reading on English and Filipino, expanding your vocabulary and doing math drills. Be sure to know the law as well. Do those reviewers, it will really help out a lot. But you really need time to work on those reviewers, at least a day for each book (I recall there were 3 volumes for CSE review) As for how difficult it is, well, you made it to college didn’t you? Imagine the exam as taking a NEAT or Entrance exam except slightly harder. They just want to know how good your general knowledge is. It’s not that hard at all. It’s just the waiting that’s more scary. Just Relax. Rather than worrying about the passing mark. Focus on getting as many correct answers as you can instead. You can always take it again anyway.
