Is the placement of the LED harness somewhat subjective?
Yes, to a certain extent it is. The eight physiological markers used to place the LED transmitters must be identified properly as you apply the harness. Locating and utilizing these markers is critical aspect of the Retül training process. Experienced fitters will likely have prior knowledge and comfort level locating these placements, and less practiced fitters must take on the responsibility of developing the basics of skeletal anatomy as part of the fitting craft. How does the fitter determine the sample size (time frame)? This is a variable which you can determine. Generally the sample size should be at least 15 seconds at the desired rider power output, but samples over longer periods of time, perhaps with varying efforts, are at your discretion. We have used samples from five seconds to five minutes in the development of the system.
