Is the rehearsal dinner at a Mexican restaurant? Will there be vegetarian options?
The rehearsal dinner will be at the 1820 House. It will be prepared by the wedding party and the bride’s and groom’s families. We will probably be serving mole (mol-AY–not the rodent) dishes–using a Mexican sauce based on unsweetened chocolate. Trust us, it’s fantastic. And there will be vegetarian options, though probably not vegan ones. 3. Will there be alcohol at the reception? We’ll be providing a champagne toast. Beyond that, the restaurant will be offering a cash bar for those who are interested in imbibing. 4. Will there be dancing at the reception? Nope, there won’t be room! There may be a first dance, but that’s all! 5. Will you be available to hang out with before or after the wedding day? Before the wedding, we’ll be doing lots of preparation, but we should have evenings available. We’re flying in on Wednesday before the wedding and flying out Tuesday afterward.
