Is the resort and home child-friendly? Is it safe for older kids?
For younger kids, the house was designed with them in mind, with no open landings, closed-in decks, etc. There is a highchair in the house, and the hotel offers cribs for use in the house. However, all the floors are tile or granite. The restaurants have highchairs and the waitresses will gladly entertain your kids and walk around with them. For older kids, they can safely walk around the resort on their own, and Brazilians are always looking out for them. However, the beach is relatively rough, with waves.
