Is the Sam Watkins Camp a charitable organization?
Charitable works is only part of what the Sam Watkins camp is all about. We are indeed classified as a not-for-profit entity and recognized by the IRS as 501(c)3 status. However by law, Camp dues cannot be claimed as a charitable donation.
