Is the Showboat Theater production of "The Count of Monte Cristo" suitable for young children?

Each enjoyed the show considerably. Granted, their cousin plays the Count, but after the show they pretend fenced and danced around madly. They booed and cheered with the rest of the audience and stayed alert to the show the whole time. The five year old got a little confused now and again, but not unlike any five year old might following any play. There's nothing out of line for kids in the show.
