Is the SNCF Fret revolution succeeding?
Healthy changes were undertaken in-house by the previous management team. We are not at the end of the tunnel yet, but it is interesting to observe the turnaround in trends that has already begun. Having said that, rail transport cannot be sure to succeed in its recovery if it stays isolated. It must take its rightful place in an expanded logistics offer. How did you deal with the friendly takeover bid by SNCF? What advantages do you expect for both parties? Launching the takeover bid is a solution for the future, both for SNCF and for Geodis. It corresponds to an expectation by our customers who want us to give them complete solutions: international coverage, combining road, ship, air and rail, of course.
