Is the terrorism laws starting to get stupid?
We may not be in possession of all the facts – just the ones the media feel are more headline grabbing. As for the laws – whether they are rushed for parliment or not, they must not be open to loose interpretation by the lawmakers and more importantly those that are entrusted to uphold these laws i.e. the police, etc. Otherwise innocent people will be caught up in the media hype and mob handed attitude that seems to prevail these days. Yes, I want to feel say no matter where in this country or indeed any country that I feel to visit. I want to know that someone is working away in the background to stop terrorist cells and keep me alive!
