Is the Toyota Yaris as reliable as the Corolla?
I know the Yaris is a fairly new car, but is it as reliable as the Corolla? Does it have that classic “never have to work on” Toyota mentality? I ask because it’s a little easier on the wallet plus I’ve heard folks claim highway gas mileage in the high 30’s and low 40’s thanks to the 1.5 liter engine. Also, I’m a tall guy at 6’5″, would I have a problem fitting in a Yaris? A: I have an 08 Yaris that I bought in Nov. of last year. I love that I average 38 mpg in the city and 42 mpg on the hwy. It is very roomy inside. My brother is 6’6” and he fits in the front just fine with the seat all the way back. The trunk is huge, and the front windshield is expansive, so I can see :-). My back seats fold down for extra room if I needed it. I have had all of the oil changes done at the dealer and haven’t had any major mechanical problems with it.
