Is there a “Art of Field Recording Vol. III” in the works?

Ledbetter: “Vol. II” will be the end of the boxed set road for us regarding the “Art of Field Recording” series, but we do have other projects slated with Art Rosenbaum. We’re doing a documentary film (“Sing My Troubles By”) with Art’s son, Neil. We’re focusing on women of North Georgia who have carried on traditional music, what music has meant to their lives, how it has been handed down through the generations of the family and why they continue to practice traditional music. CP: Any recorded volumes coming down the pike? Ledbetter: Yeah, another one we’re doing is a photograph book called, “Take Me to the Water.” A guy in New York collected antique photos of immersion baptism scenes from 1890 to 1950. We’ll release the book with a CD of baptism songs recorded between 1924-1940. You’ll see lots of nice images of baptism, and there’s a nice little CD you can pop in while you’re looking at the book.
