Is there a bible verse that talks about wanting to heal?
There are many verses related to healing… A teaching I received once rather strongly encouraged reading or having the person being prayed with read and meditate on these verses for a time. This helps their faith be in the Word of God, and the power of God, and not in the person praying with them for healing. I give testimony to healings in groups of people, often for the same reason. It may help someone else believe for a healing. The woman with the “issue of blood” reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment…she had faith to believe for healing…if only she could touch the master. Jesus felt “virtue” or power to heal, flow from Him in response to this womans faith. Both are necessary to result in the testimonies that so encourage us as believers., It is needful to remember that ultimate healing is sometimes used as a nice way of saying, they are “with the Lord”…but I believer healing is meant to be a blessing here as well.
