Well…yes, there are some similarities. Perseus – no, no monster killers in the Bible. Artemis – goddess who did supernatural things not recorded in the Bible. Hera – ditto. Hermes – ditto, though there *is* mention of a messenger who was very fleet of foot: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea… The archangel Gabriel is often identified as the message deliverer of God. Persephone – Dinah was kidnapped and raped by a prince http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea… Hebe – does not resemble anything that I recall from the Bible. Some things that you might find useful: Jacob wrestles with an angel (reminiscent of Heracles and the titan)

I think you will find there is a much more convincing parallel between Egyptian characters and the bible. Adam – Akhenaten Moses – Tuthmoses Egypt – Eden Jesus – ‘out of egypt’ Mt Sinai – Great Pyramid Biblical patriarch are constantly ‘associating’ with Pharaohs – Abraham, Moses, etc. King David, Solomon – could only have been Pharaohs as there is NO record of these people outside of the bible.
