Is there a Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 8 ?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 is a monthly canon comic series published by Dark Horse comics, it began in March 07 and is (as of Feb 09) up to issue 22. The story connects to other Whedonverse Dark House comics such as “Fray” (in which Buffy’s scyth/axe first appeared) and “Tales of the Vampires” in a way making them semi-canon also. There is also ANGEL Season 6 a montly cannon comic series published by IDW comics, which began in Nov 07 and is (as of Feb 09) up to issue 17. Joss is on record for saying that if there was a chance to do Buffy again, he’d drop whatever else he was doing in a heartbeat. Recently even Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) has admitted to being interested in reprising the role, if it included Joss and a good script. In the meantime Joss and Eliza Dushku (Faith) have created a new show together called Dollhouse on FOX, which has just aired it’s 2nd episode this week.
