Jay R nearly has it but you need a piece of software to record your cassette music. From the start here’s what to do….. From a stereo system or a casstte player, you can take the phono outputs into your PC sound card. The phono outputs are usually left and right stereo outputs, but they may be labelled AUX – it really depends on the device. There should be an input socket for a 3.5 mm jack plug on your PC sound card, so using a cable like this will connect the cassette player to your PC: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Modu… This is taking an analogue output from your cassette player into a digital input on your PC.
