Because of the support of the sponsoring organizations, all events are FREE OF CHARGE and open to the public. Please invite colleagues, friends and family to attend the AIE Series of Events with you. Where can I get a copy of Essie’s Story: The Life and Legacy of a Shoshone Teacher? Essie’s Story is available for loan at the East Grand Forks Campbell Library, Grand Forks Public Library, the Grand Forks Air Force Base Library and the UND Chester Fritz Library. Books are available for purchase at Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Waldenbooks and B Dalton Booksellers. The paperback book retails around $14.00 plus tax. Do I need to read Essie’s Story to attend the book discussions? You are encouraged to read Essie’s Story: The Life and Legacy of a Shoshone Teacher to enhance your understanding of the American Indian experience.
