Is there a cure for the negative symptoms in schizophrenia?

There really is not such thing as a cure for any mental disorder that has to do with a chemical imbalance. The best way to control the negative effects from the specific mental disorder is to discuss with your doctor the best medication for you. Something like Zyprexa might work for you but then again it might not. However, some people who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia have had it literally just go away. The below link also explains my previous statement. For “Is schizophrenia a degenerative disease?” Answer: “The consensus appears to be that schizophrenia is not a degenerative disease, although there are hints that there is some degeneration from autopsy and brain imaging studies. The latter could just be incidental to age.” http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/nash/sfeatu… Above is the link to the posted passage. Good luck to you.
