Is there a cure for Tourettes and OCD?
There is no cure for TS or OCD. There is medication can help, however it’s really hit and miss. I’ve been on every medication in the book for TS and nothing works 100%. There are some alternative treatments for TS. Acupuncture can take the edge off. Botox injections in the vocal cords has proven to greatly reduce if not remove vocal tics in a good 80% or 90% of cases (I’m that lucking 10%). However, at the age of 15, you’re in luck! TS tends to lessen in severity around adolescents, early 20s, 30s, and about every ten years. Don’t let TS or OSD effect your school work. I have a severe case of TS and about to graduate in the top of my college’s class. I have a cousin with OSD who’s doing great in college as well. Trust me when I say that it gets better. You’ll get used to it, others will get used to it, and things will even out. Live and kick past it. The younger generations are MUCH more accepting of disabilities.
