Yes, there is a huge difference. The training for a Real Estate Agent or Salesperson is minimal to almost nonexistent. The Real Estate Agent or Salesperson must work under the supervision of a Real Estate Broker. The training for the Real Estate Broker is greater. The exam for the Real Estate Broker is also harder and more thorough than the exam for the Real Estate Agent. The Real Estate Broker may work on his own, not under the supervision of anyone else. The Real Estate Broker may also employ Real Estate Agents (Salespeople).
