You can substitute plain yogurt, sour cream, or pureed cottage cheese for mayonnaise in cold recipes, such as chicken salad or coleslaw. Sour cream is a good substitute for mayonnaise in hot dips and casseroles. Q: What can you use in recipes if you don’t drink liquor?
