First off I do want to congratulate you for wanting the relationship to last. You are the kind of guy that a lot of girls would want to be with. Ok, I like your romantic idea about the rose. Just make sure to discuss with her whether making it official for everyone to know is a good idea. I know you’re not going to tell her about the rose but ask her question about letting her friends and other people around the school know. Since she is shy be sure to not embarrass her. My other advise is don’t move too fast with the relationship. Take it slow. Girls like to date a guy that is kind of hard to get. You can certainly play that without hurting her feelings.
