Is there a lot of travel involved in playing AFL in Sydney?

We are lucky because every second week our entire club is usually playing at Lionel Watts Reserve, so we only travel on away weeks. For away weeks this amount of travel depends on the age group. Auskick to Under 11 play in the Northshore competition, against teams like Pittwater, St Ives, Manly , Mosman and Willoughby (for example). So there is very little travel for these groups. The older age groups play in the Sydney Harbour competition, which is broader and often involves playing in the Hills District and on the odd occasion beyond. We compensate in the older age groups by car pooling and the team coach and manager are always happy to arrange lifts etc.
