Yes. Piedmont Fayette Hospital offers a fully staffed Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to care for sick or premature newborns. The highly trained expert staff includes six board certified neonatologists that are available 24 hours a day. The physicians work collaboratively with the NICU nurses, respiratory therapists and speech therapists to provide care in the new 5-bed, Level II NICU. The unit is equipped with the latest technologies, including ventilation and CPAP.
