Is there a school for gifted kids only?

Oftentimes, these special schools for “gifted children” are called “Acadamies”, and not the military school kind either! And they COST money, too! They are not cheap! Like Patti F said, the child has to pass an entrance exam to get in them, they are elite, highly exclusive, and geared for a steady curricula that is part entertainment and part working 9 to 5 without pay! Many public schools diabolically offer a split curricula, they have a “fast track” for bright promising (and often wealthy) students, and then they have the “regular track” for most of the general student body, and they have a third “remedial track” for slow-learners, problem children, and people with disabilities (unfortunately, because lots of children with disabilities are quite smart!
