Is there a special oil filter wrench for the Mazda 6?

It is next to impossible to get the oil filter off. I’ve checked the Mazda website but can’t find any info. Yes, taking it in is expensive because of the oil type & filter type. Over $60 for an oil change!!! The problem is that the filter is made of paper, not solid, so most wrenches won’t work. A: There is a tool that the Mazda techs use but you can’t buy it anywhere. I had the same problem, try using one of the cap type filter wrenches. With some luck this will work for you.
