Is there a way to go directly to a certain point on a DVR recorded program?

The DVR, if stopped at a certain point, will allow you to resume playback from that point. Another way to quickly move through a program — and this works for FF or RW — is to press the FF or RW button and then press the right directional button that surrounds the “Select” button (or the left one if you want to rewind). Each time you press it you will jump 15 minutes in the direction you are moving through the program. This is the quickest way to get to the point you’re looking for.
