Is there a website that can convert Microsoft Works files to Word format?

You don’t need a website, you do it yourself quite simply either by opening Word (if you have it,of course) and opening the Works files from that program (make sure you change file format to All files so you can see works files, and then save as .doc. Alternatively, right click on the file icons, Open With and select Word so all Works files (and I presume you mean word processing files only) automatically open in future in Word. You can also save in rtf or txt format which is generic form and can be opened by any word processing application but then you tend to lose the formatting.
