* There is no specific age for introducing peanut butter for the first time, unless there is family history of allergy, atopy, eczema, etc. * Peanuts are a highly allergenic food and care should be taken when first introducing it to your child. * The usual recommendation is to wait until your child is old enough to verbalize any arising symptoms, or later than three years of age, especially if there is family history of peanut allergy.  more
