Is there an installation option for including the water line that goes to the refrigerator for chilled water dispenser and ice maker?
The AQ-4000 is not designed for use with an ice maker as this would require constant pressure that the plastic housing simply cannot handle. It may last 2 days or 2 decades, but eventually the housing is going to give, and, if no one is home at the time, flooding will occur. We no longer produce or carry a refrigerator filter as most refrigerators with ice makers and drinking fountains have different specifications. Virtually all refrigerator manufacturers now offer filters for their brands. Please check with your appliance dealer.
