Is there any book like harry potter series?
You might enjoy the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer, which my son likes very much. They are about a boy genius who is a thief and gets involved with the secret world of fairies. There are good characters, lots of humour and excitement, and the books are very enjoyable. The ‘Power of Five’ series by Anthony Horowitz is another series you might enjoy. They are about a group of teenagers with supernatural powers who have to join forces to fight the Old Ones who are trying to take over the world. The first book in the series is Raven’s Gate. The ‘Redwall’ series by Brian Jacques is another series you might enjoy. The characters in these books are animals, the heroes are mice, squirrels, etc, but they are not books for very young children, they are quite exciting stories with a lot of drama and suspence (and quite a bit of violence). The series has a sort of vaguely medieval setting and is quite absorbing when you get into it.
