Gastrointestinal effects from Gilbert’s disease are not common. The literature does not list constipation as being an issue. Gilbert’s disease can make some people more sensitive to side effects from some medications, however, so constipation can be a medication side effect. My advice: drink adequate fluid, take in adequate fiber, and get more physical activity… that all helps with bowel regularity.
