Is there any difference between coaching men’s soccer and women’s soccer?
There are many differences between coaching men’s and women’s soccer team. The speed of play is faster in the men’s game. Egos are an important part of the men’s side, while women are more focused on relationship. Men can argue, disagree and tell one another off on the pitch and still get the job done. Women take things more personally but, in my opinion, they listen and implement quicker than men. There are pros and cons in either coaching experience. 4. When Buffalo joined the MAC in 1998, your team played the first conference game of any UB sport. What was the transition into the MAC like for your team? I was looking forward to it because UB was not in a conference when I was hired. It was a great opportunity for the UB women’s soccer program.
